Eazy Agro Australia (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.eazyagro.com, why we collect it, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
- Orders and checkout: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and the products in your cart.
- Accounts: if you create an account, your email address, password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider) and any profile details you add.
- Quotes, enquiries and bookings: the details you enter in our contact, quote request, business registration and consultation booking forms — for example your business name, ABN, phone number and message.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Usage information: pages viewed and actions taken on the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
We do not see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card information under its own security and privacy terms.
How we use your information
- to process, deliver and support your orders;
- to prepare shipping and product quotes and answer enquiries;
- to manage your account and wholesale or business registration;
- to remind you about a checkout you started but didn't finish (see “Unfinished checkouts” below);
- to send our newsletter, if you subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time;
- to prevent fraud and spam, and to improve the site.
Unfinished checkouts
Once you enter a valid email address at checkout, we save your progress (contact details, delivery address and cart) so we can follow up if the order isn't completed. We may send up to three reminder emails with a link to restore your cart. These records are deleted automatically after 5 days, or kept with your order if you complete it.
Who we share it with
We only share personal information with service providers that help us run the store, and only what they need:
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Australia Post and our delivery partners — to ship your order;
- Supabase and Vercel — secure database and website hosting;
- our email provider — order confirmations, quotes and newsletters;
- Geoapify — to suggest addresses as you type at checkout;
- Cloudflare Turnstile — to block spam on our forms;
- Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement, via the Meta Pixel.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses your browser's storage to keep your cart, checkout progress and display preferences, and to keep you signed in. We also use the Meta Pixel to understand how our advertising performs. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the store will still work, but your cart may not be remembered.
Keeping your information secure
Personal information is stored with access restricted to authorised staff and is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law — for example, order records are kept for tax and accounting purposes.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
